emlak.buzz is a real estate listings platform where verified agencies and agents publish properties for sale, for rent, for business transfer and for short-term rental. It works together with a website and a mobile app. It is our own product, developed by our team.

What it aims for

Two questions come up when you search for property: who posted the listing, and is the price reasonable? emlak.buzz tries to answer the first by limiting listings to verified agencies and agents, and the second with its Home Valuation tool. The tool shows reference price ranges on a map at province, district and neighborhood level, based on data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB).

Features

• Search with tabs for residential, land, industrial/logistics, commercial/retail, projects/new builds and tourism/hospitality
• Location, transaction type, price, square meter and feature filters, plus quick-select tags
• Listing cards with photo galleries: price, m², number of rooms, agency badge and favorites
• Sections for an agent directory, short-term rentals, land-for-flat deals and projects
• A card showing the live distribution of listings by category
• Messaging, favorites and a subscription system for agencies
• 11 legal documents, including KVKK (Turkey's data protection law), distance sales and content removal, plus an account deletion page

Technical approach

We built the platform with PHP and MySQL as lightweight server-rendered pages; the pages don't depend on external JavaScript bundles. The infrastructure runs on Teletek Bulut, behind Cloudflare. On mobile, a bottom navigation bar gets you to the home page, listings, favorites and messages in one tap.

I, Berke Özyaşar, was involved in developing this product. On the real estate side, I also built Real Estate Mobile Manager, a personal mobile CRM that helps agents manage their portfolios and appointments.
