Mitlog

Mitlog is the mobile app that Mitlog Hava Deniz Taşımacılık, an air and sea freight company, offers its customers. Customers, who see the app under the MyMitlog brand, can follow their shipments, documents and invoices in one place. I developed it for our client Mitlog; it is live on the App Store and Google Play under the company's own account.

The goal

In international shipping, customers want to know what stage their cargo is at, when the vessel departs and when it will arrive. Asking the operations team every time costs both sides time. The app was designed to make logistics tracking and communication with the company easier for customers.

Features

• Shipments listed by status under Booking, Ship On Way and Arrived tabs
• Search by B/L, container number or customer reference
• Cards showing container number, reference, ETS POL and ETA POD dates, B/L type, cargo type and shipper
• Swipe on a card to access the HBL, invoice and vessel details
• A bottom menu with shipment, invoice, voyage and notification tabs
• Messaging with the company and push notifications
• Customer login and staff login options

Technical approach

The app is written in React Native and ships to iOS and Android from a single codebase. I used the shipment tracking structure I had built earlier for Buzmavi as the foundation and adapted it to Mitlog's brand colors, logo and workflows. That way, rather than starting from scratch, the project moved forward on a base already proven in the field. In logistics customer apps like this, I, Berke Özyaşar, build the listing, document access and notification flows to work on top of the company's existing operations system.

Status

The Mitlog app has been on the App Store since October 17, 2025, and is also live on Google Play (announcement).
