SaaS product development

Turning an idea into a working web and mobile product with sign-up, payments, subscriptions and an admin panel, backed by experience from our own products.

SaaS product development means turning an idea into a working product with user sign-up, payments, subscriptions, an admin panel and a regular release cycle. I'm Berke Özyaşar, and this is how our team builds our own products: construction site management, exam preparation, real estate listings and customer account tracking. I offer the same experience to teams that want to launch their own product.

Who it's for

  • Entrepreneurs who know their industry well and want to turn that knowledge into software
  • Businesses that want to offer a tool they use internally to other companies
  • Teams that want to grow an existing product with a mobile app or new modules

What's included

  • Defining the first-version scope: which features now, which later
  • A web app, a mobile app and the API they share
  • Sign-up, login and role-based access control
  • Payment infrastructure (e.g. PayTR) and App Store / Google Play subscriptions
  • An admin panel, reports and export to PDF or Excel
  • Legal texts and store requirements such as account deletion
  • Regular releases after launch

How I work

A narrow but usable first version

In the first version I focus on the flows that solve the product's core problem. In large products (Şantiyepro has 56 modules) each module shouldn't have to rewrite shared pieces such as users, permissions and reporting, so I build that shared foundation from the start.

The revenue model is built into the code from day one

Free trial, one-time payment or subscription: whichever model you choose, the limits and permissions need to be defined in the code from the start. kpss.ai offers a free trial without asking for card details, while Şantiyepro has a free plan and in-store subscriptions.

Small, frequent releases

SaaS isn't a project you deliver once and walk away from. I prefer shipping small, frequent releases based on user feedback. We update Şantiyepro on a release cycle of roughly 45 days; a steady rhythm shows users the product is alive and makes it easier to keep up with store requirements on time.

Technology

PHP with MySQL or MariaDB on the server, React Native on mobile, and Node.js where needed. Cloudflare for caching and security, and reCAPTCHA for form security.

Our own products

Şantiyepro is a construction site management app that works offline, with a web panel and role-based cloud sync. kpss.ai is a preparation platform for KPSS, ÖABT and DHBT (Turkey's civil service, teacher subject-knowledge and religious services exams), with 30,846 original questions, each with a written solution. emlak.buzz is a listings platform where verified real estate agencies publish their listings. Ultra Cari is an app for shopkeepers and small businesses to track customer accounts, cash and cheques.

Frequently asked questions

Which features does the first version need?

The flow that solves the product's core problem, user accounts, and a payment or trial model. Advanced reports and extra modules can be left for later releases, guided by user feedback.

Should I start with web or mobile?

It depends on where your users do their work. Mobile is the better starting point for people in the field, web for people at a desk; with a shared API both can grow together.

How do we collect subscription payments?

On the web you use local payment providers such as PayTR, and in the mobile app App Store and Google Play subscriptions. Store rules can require in-app purchases for selling digital content, so we plan for that from the start.

Do you provide support after the product launches?

Yes. We keep working together after launch on bug fixes, new modules and changes in store requirements.
