Buzmavi
Logistics customer app
An iOS and Android app that gives Buzmavi Deniz ve Hava Taşımacılık customers shipment, document and invoice tracking.

Buzmavi is a mobile app built for the customers of Buzmavi Deniz ve Hava Taşımacılık, a sea and air freight company. I, Berke Özyaşar, developed this app for our client Buzmavi. The app is live on iOS and Android under the company's own developer account.
The need
A freight company's customers ask two questions more than any other: where is my cargo, and are my documents ready? That information usually travels through emails and phone calls. The goal of the app was to let customers follow their logistics processes on their own and make communication with the company easier; in other words, to put shipment information straight onto the customer's phone.
What's in the app
- Status tabs: shipments are split into Booking, Ship On Way and Arrived, with a record count on each tab.
- Search: by B/L number, container number or customer reference.
- Shipment cards: container and reference numbers, ETS POL and ETA POD dates, B/L type, delivery terms, cargo type and shipper.
- Swipe actions: one gesture on a card opens the HBL, invoice and vessel details.
- Bottom menu: shipments, invoices, voyages and notifications.
- Messaging and push notifications.
- Customer and staff login on the same screen.
Technical approach
I wrote the app with React Native from a single codebase for both platforms. Long shipment lists load page by page, and document access is kept simple with swipe actions on each card. I set up the push notification infrastructure. I later reused a similar structure in the Mitlog, CDA Lojistik and Almark apps. I wrote about this experience in my post on React Native logistics apps.
Status
Buzmavi has been on the App Store since March 7, 2025, and is also live on Google Play (announcement). If you are considering a similar customer app for your company, take a look at mobile app development.
