CDA Lojistik

The CDA Lojistik app was built to simplify logistics tracking and communication for the company's customers. I, Berke Özyaşar, developed this Android app for our client CDA Lojistik. The app is live on Google Play under CDA Lojistik's own developer account.

What sets it apart

Road freight plays a big part in CDA Lojistik's operations. That is why the app is not only container-focused; for road shipments it also highlights details such as the trailer plate, trip number and CMR document. Customers can see sea, air and road cargo in the same list and filter it with one tap. The counts on the tabs show at a glance what stage each record is at; opening the card is all it takes to see the details.

Features

• Shipments split by status into Booking, In Transit and Arrived tabs
• Quick filtering with sea, air and road icons, plus search
• Cards with trailer plate, reference and trip number, ETS POL and ETA POD dates, shipper and consignee
• Swipe on a card to access the CMR document, invoice and location data
• Shipment, invoice and notification tabs; messaging with the company
• Language selection on the login screen, with customer and staff login

Technical approach

I built the app with React Native. Its core is based on the shipment tracking architecture I built for Buzmavi and Mitlog; for CDA, I added road-freight-specific fields, CMR and location features, and redesigned the interface around the company's corporate identity. This makes it possible to shape the same industry know-how around each company's own workflow.
