Skymar
Logistics web and mobile package
A digital package for Skymar Logistics: a corporate website, an iOS and Android customer app, and staff management screens.

Skymar Logistics is an Istanbul-based logistics company offering integrated solutions across sea, air, road and rail freight. I, Berke Özyaşar, built a package for our client Skymar that spans from the website to the mobile app: the corporate website, a customer-facing iOS and Android app, and the app's staff and management screens.
Corporate website
skymar.com.tr is live in Turkish and English.
- Service pages for sea, air, road and rail freight (with details such as FCL/LCL, FTL/LTL and block trains).
- An online quote request form that asks for the mode of transport and the cargo ready date; requests are forwarded to the company by email.
- A CBM calculator that works out volume from the number and dimensions of cartons, plus an Incoterms 2023 guide.
- A careers form with CV upload, news, and mission and vision pages.
Mobile app
- A shipment list split into Booking, In Transit and Arrived tabs; search by B/L, container number or customer reference.
- Access to HBL and invoice documents from the shipment cards.
- Invoices filtered by payment status and date range, with download and sharing.
- Messaging with the customer representative, with support for sending photos, documents and voice recordings.
- Push notifications for vessel arrivals, messages and invoices; Turkish and English interface.
Staff and management screens
The app also has a staff login. Authorized users can send notifications with images to all customers or to a single user, monitor active users and activity logs, and turn bottom menu tabs and chat buttons on or off. For the app store processes, I also prepared the privacy policy, account deletion request and child safety pages.
Technical approach and status
The website runs on ASP.NET Web Forms on IIS. I wrote the mobile app with React Native from a single codebase; the back end runs on Node.js and SQL Server, messaging uses Socket.IO and notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging. The app is live on Google Play and has been on the App Store since June 23, 2026. For similar customer apps, see the Buzmavi and Mitlog projects; for your own company, take a look at the mobile app development page.
