EKA Gümrükleme
Customs brokerage website
A corporate website with an admin panel and a regulations library for EKA Grup Customs Brokerage, based in Istanbul.
EKA Gümrükleme is the corporate website of EKA Grup, an Istanbul-based customs brokerage and logistics company. The site presents its services: customs brokerage, sea, road and air freight, domestic transport, bonded and non-bonded warehousing, and insurance. I, Berke Özyaşar, built this website and its admin panel for EKA Grup Customs Brokerage as a client project.
The need
Customs brokerage clients want two things: information about the services and quick access to current regulations. The company, in turn, wanted to update messages, videos and documents without needing a developer. So I built the site so that every piece of content can be managed from the admin panel.
What the site includes
- An illustrated service map on the home page linking to eight service pages
- A video gallery split into promotional and service categories
- A regulations library with an in-page document viewer
- On-site search
- A contact window that brings together a message form, phone, WhatsApp, an emergency line, office hours and directions, plus an email form with selectable subject and priority
Admin panel
The custom PHP admin panel I wrote covers a dashboard, incoming messages and replies, gallery and video categories, regulation documents, footer sections, social media links, contact window settings and activity logs.
Technical approach
The site runs on PHP and MySQL. Contact forms are sent over SMTP with PHPMailer, search and UI interactions are written in plain JavaScript, and the site is served behind Cloudflare.
My other websites for the logistics sector are MGT France and Valor Lojistik. If you need a corporate website, take a look at the web development page. The site is live at ekagumrukleme.com.
