Valor Lojistik

International logistics website

A three-language corporate website I built with Next.js for Valor Lojistik, a carrier operating between Europe, Turkey and Asia.

Valor Lojistik is an Istanbul-based international logistics company connecting Europe, Turkey and Asia. It offers road, intermodal, rail, sea and air freight, project cargo and an express service called Speedy, with a focus on Middle Corridor and CIS routes. I, Berke Özyaşar, built this corporate website for Valor Lojistik as a client project.

The need

The company's markets stretch from Turkey to Europe and the CIS countries. So the site had to be published in Turkish, English and Russian, and at the same time deliver its “from Europe to China, one provider” message with strong visuals.

What the site includes

  • A three-slide, full-screen hero presenting the corridors and services
  • Service pages for road, intermodal, rail, sea and air freight, project cargo and Speedy
  • Corporate, sustainability and careers pages
  • Areas of expertise, global network and blog sections
  • A “Horizontal Mode” option for browsing content by scrolling sideways, and a full-screen menu
  • A Turkish, English and Russian language switcher

Technical approach

I built the site with Next.js and React. Images are served through Next.js image optimization, and the hero slides run on Swiper. Hreflang tags are defined for every language, so search engines can match the Turkish, English and Russian pages with the right audience. The site is served behind Cloudflare. Interactions such as horizontal mode were added so the corporate site would not look like an ordinary template. The content structure was designed so that sections like the blog and areas of expertise can grow over time.

For similar multilingual corporate websites, see the web development page. My other logistics websites are MGT France and EKA Gümrükleme. The site is live at valortr.net.
