The Mitlog Air&Sea mobile app is now live on the App Store

The mobile app I built for our client Mitlog Hava Deniz Taşımacılık is now live on the App Store with its iOS version. On the App Store, the app is published as "Mitlog Air&Sea Inc" under the company's own developer account; the Android version is on Google Play.

What the app is for

Mitlog is a logistics company providing air and sea freight. The app's purpose is to make shipment tracking and communication easier for the company's customers: customers can access information about their shipments and contact the company from their phones. The app supports push notifications, so important updates can reach customers without them having to open the app.

The technical side

I built the app with React Native. A single codebase powers both the iOS and Android versions, so when a feature is added it can ship on both platforms together. I had previously built a customer app in the logistics sector for Buzmavi as well; in apps like these, the most time-consuming work is less about the screens and more about bringing data from the company's existing system to the customer accurately and clearly.
